Real Madrid eye shock move for Spurs ace

Kyle Walker

Gareth Bale is stealing the headlines at White Hart Lane this season but Madrid are now interested in his team mate Walker who could be set for a surprise move to the Spanish capital in the summer.

The former Sheffield United youngster has progressed significantly over the past few seasons and is now a regular both for Spurs and in Roy Hodgson’s England squads.

Madrid are looking to replace former Liverpool right back Alvaro Arbeloa in the summer and Walker’s fine attacking play is considered to be up there with the best in European football.

Jose Mourinho has sent scouts to the majority of Tottenham games this season to monitor Bale, but it seems Walker has caught the eye and a £15 million bid could be enough for Spurs to buckle once again.

Sergio Ramos has been filling it at right back for the Spanish champions who are in England preparing for their Champions League tie with Manchester United on Tuesday and so will be watching todays North London derby at White Hart Lane.
