Inter make move for Argentine winger on free transfer
- Updated: March 1, 2013
Inter have made Tigres winger Ruben Botta an offer to take him to the club at the end of the season on a free transfer, according to Sky.
Gianluca Di Marzio is suggesting that the club met with representatives of the player in a Milan hotel yesterday to discuss the deal.
Further developments will be made in the move over the next few days although an offer has been made to the 23-year-old talent.
Juventus were also believed to have been monitoring the player while Roma were also aware of him although neither made a definitive offer.
The Nerazzurri do want the player to take an Italian passport if he is to join the club this summer should negotiations proceed as planned.
He has been with Tigre his entire career although did have a loan spell in Latvia as a 19-year-old.
