Milan have agreed to sign Verona midfielder Jorginho, La Gazzetta dello Sport has revealed.

AC Milan have put in place an agreement to purchase 50% of the players contract in the summer transfer window , with the player expected to remain at Verona for the 2013/14 season to help the club clinch promotion to Serie A.

The player has been in immense form for Serie B side Verona which has sparked interest form multiple European clubs, most notably Arsenal who were keen to make a deal but AC Milan managed to get there first.
